4-Protective Spirit

6-Reversal of Fortune
7-Shield of Judgement
8-Zealots Fire
My attributes are Healing 13, Smiting 15, Protection 9, Divine 9
When I step outside I activate 1,2 and 3. Just before stepping into the agro circle I fire 8, 4 and 5. When I am surrounded by all available enemy I hit SOJ, then every 3 seconds activate 4,5 and 6 until everything is dead. Instead of fighting back I am picking up drops, in case I get killed unexpectedly.
If there is a boss in the group I target him and wand him so he dies with the rest. My secondary is Me, and I use Mantra of Resolve against enemies who can interrupt. In that case I replace Reversal of Fortune.
BTW Reversal of Fortune is a great cheap skill. It offers health protection, recharges fast and costs only 5 to use. With ZF on it is a cost-effective way to damage a large group.

That's pretty much the exact build I use. On my monk...
I think the debate between Watchful Spirit and Mending is really how much you want to put into Healing Prayers. Watchful Spirit always gives you +2 regen, regardless of how much you put into HP.

Ahh I missed that. I've never thought about using SS as a Warrior primary for some reason. Gonna cap SS and give that a try thanks.

Yes but only if they get hit by it twice within 2-3 secs
Cyclone is every 4. The MOP'd griffon if not your primary target.
Pre nerf i would make 4-5 min runs. With MoP not being AoE its 10-12 sec and ANY group of griffons is leveled. I didnt need bonnettis back then but now i do and the run takes 7 mins 20-25 secs to bring down the griffs. Its great because cyclone does like 1-3dmg +34 so all the griffs except the boss and MoP'd one drop at the same time.

With the riposte build I use takes about the same time to complete the run. The fastest build I have ever used was w/r apply poison/cyclone axe/vim build. Drop eoe and pull the griffons and after 1 dies the rest go down right away.

Results are in. S8* can post the build he used it he wants. My build proved to be faster. I do not judge speed per griffon...I judge speed per group (10-20) of griffons or monitors. I believe that I have tried every build mentioned above and I am positive that my build kills faster. I would like to point out that S8*'s build is more versitile. With his build you can clean up griffons and monitors then head over and take out the hydras without changing your build so if that floats your boat the I recommend his build.
My build: (not really mine I am sure that I picked this up here or modified one to fit my needs)
Heal Sig
Cyclone Axe
Open*
Open*
Bons Def
Glads Def
Live Vic
Mending
* I fill the open slots with dismember and exec strike for killing bosses and cleaning up.
attribs:
I am not posting mine. Just know that you should meet your axe req to get the extra area damage from cyclone spamming. I also recommend high tactics so that glads lasts longer.
I use a sup axe, sup tactics, and sup str
Health is never an issue once you get the idea of always having a stance up. With liv vic on and mending you will never drop health below 60% so there is no need to fill the open slots with healing skills. Just us Glads when it is up and then spam cyclone + bons def when it is recharging.
I can hear some of you screaming *BS* my build is faster. If you really think so then just message me in game and prove it please because I would love to speed up my farming. Make sure you know how and have used my build before you message me though. Saves us both time.

sprint
glads def
balth's aura
mending
live vicariously
vigarous spirit
8 axe (thats the req of my axe)
around 11 smite 13 tactics
cyclone gets adrenaline for bonnetti's
glads does damage for a while while cycloneing, then use bonnetti followed by balth's aura THIS STOPS THE DEVOURERS INTERRUPTING IT enchants on all the time, sprint speeds up the run

As Me NoFat has said, his build does kill faster. We tested both builds on the minos in the elona mission so we are sure the results are accurate. If you just want to kill a lot faster then go with his build, if you want to be able to go solo something else without having to change your build you can go with mine. Here is what I use:
Armor:
Full Glads , Ascalon Helm
Shield/Weapon:
Any sword/Malinons shield
Attributes:
8 heal
13 strength (+3 from runes)
16 tactics (+1 helm +3 from runes)
Skills:
Riposte
Deadly Riposte
Glads Defence
Watch Yourself
Dolyak Signet
Healing Breeze
Mending
Balthazars Spirit

Happy that you posted that. There are advantage to both builds to be sure. I also feel that both builds give you a good foundation to start playing with your own farming builds if you are new to it. Riposte and Cyclone are staples of Sword and Axe farming.

My personal build is
1.cyclone xe
2.Bonetties defense
3.Glads def
4.Vigorus spirit
5.executioner strike
6.live vicarusly
7.Mending
8.sprint
Ok for grifons i start from augry rock.
as soon as you start use mendin, wait until it recharges up to 20 again, and then use live vicarously, you will only have 15 energy left.
after this as soon as you engage enemy activate glads defense and vigorus spirit, after this use cyclone axe, once done this activate the bonetis def and wait until recover energy, keep doing this until glads def recharges and hit glad def followed by vigorous spirit.
healin 8-9
stenth-8-9
axe mastery 10
tactis all the rest of the points you have
very easy you just need practice you can olso use this with trolls slaying outside drogs forge
